About WIMS WILLIAMS
Wims Williams is an ESL teacher, school administrator, and writer who believes every child carries a story worth telling—and the strength to shape its ending. With years of experience supporting young learners from diverse language backgrounds, Wims brings both empathy and cultural awareness to every page.
His debut children’s picture book, The Brave Slave, gently explores themes of courage, resilience, and freedom in an age-appropriate way, honoring the voices of the past while inspiring the heroes of tomorrow. Wims is also the author of the self-help titles Be Your Own Best Friend and The Hero in You, which empower readers of all ages to build confidence from within.
When not writing or teaching, Wims advocates for inclusive storytelling that helps children see themselves as capable, valued, and brave. He lives with his family and believes that the smallest readers can spark the biggest changes.
